Southwest Brings Back Tie and Win from Oshkosh


OSHKOSH NORTH INVITE

OSHKOSH - The Green Bay Southwest Trojans went 1-0-1 on Saturday in the Oshkosh North Invite.

In its first game, Southwest ended in a 1-1 tie against Oshkosh North. Oshkosh North led for most of the game, but a Southwest goal by Harrison Curran in the 79th minute saved the Trojans. Southwest goalkeeper Connor Frisch finished with 10 saves.

In its second match, Southwest pulled out a 3-2 victory against the Waupaca Comets. Waupaca got off to a quick 2-0 lead, but the Trojans responded quickly with two goals in the first half and a goal from Avery Jensen in the second half. Frisch tallied nine saves in the victory.
