Pablo Ortiz, Alex Craig and Chris Gillespie each added a goal,while Griffin Pecore had two assists. Ethan Bellisle, Sammy Devenport and Kyle Posselt each tallied an assist in the win.
Felix Torrez and Harrison Curran both scored for Southwest.
In net, Pirates goaltenders Sam McKean and Josh Egle combined for three saves, while Connor Frisch made six saves for the Trojans.
